Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches adults assisting young people with a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to young people showing signs of mental illness or in crisis, and connect them with the appropriate professional, peer, social or self-help care.
A young person you know could be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. You can help them. Anyone can take the course, but it is ideally designed for adults who work with young people, ages 12-18—teachers, coaches,
faith leaders, social workers, and other caring adults.
*Training meets requirements for Suicide Prevention Education Credit for SD Teachers!
Training is FREE!Lunch will be one hour on your own.
