NSPL

As part of the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline network of crisis centers, the Helpline Center provides a connecting point for South Dakotans 24/7 who are experiencing thoughts of suicide, a mental health or substance use crisis or any other kind of emotional distress. The Helpline Center is accessible through a three-digit number, 988. When someone calls, chats or texts 988, they will be connected to a trained crisis specialist.
