Free Manlove Health Talk: Predicting Violence

610 Quincy Street, Rapid City, South Dakota 57701

5:30 pm Monday, May 15, 2023 until 6:30 pm Monday, May 15, 2023

Learn how to predict violence by recognizing signs that someone may be violent with local psychiatrist, Dr. Stephen Manlove in this free one-hour talk at the Rapid City Public Library.

Based on his 32 years as a forensic and general psychiatrist, Dr. Manlove will discuss the relationship between mental illness and violence. He will give strategies for assessing risk of violence and strategies for reducing risk. If you work in any public setting, especially schools or law enforcement, or if you are just worried about violence, you may find this talk especially pertinent.

We will be in the Community Room located on the 2nd floor at the Downtown Rapid City Public Library. Doors open at 5:00pm with the presentation beginning at 5:30pm.

Due to meeting space, seating is limited to the first 60 people. This event is free and open to all, but registration is required.

Light refreshments will be served!

This event is part of a free community series, Navigating Today’s World Through a Psychiatric Lens, hosted by Manlove Brain + Body Health.
