Live in the Path of Hope – Annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Event

This is a FREE event for all ages!
Looking for a team or individual challenge? The SD Army National Guard will have a 22-mile ruck march around Lake Kampeska. This represents the number of veterans who die from suicide each day. Registration will begin at 6:30am, with the march beginning at 8am.
The 5K and 1 mile walk check in starts at 3:00pm with run/walk beginning at 3:30pm. We will have resource tables and activities before and after our annual 5K run and 1-mile walk . You can sign up ahead of time or on the day of the event.
The Remembrance ceremony will begin 4:30pm. Come early to check out the Remembrance tables and swag. We will have a Remembrance display so please feel free to bring a picture of loved ones to be remembered (you will take your picture after the event). Anyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
Donations will be accepted online and during the event. Proceeds will support suicide awareness efforts in and around the Watertown community. September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Glacial Lakes SAFE is working to make more resources available to our community and youth!
